These paintings look like my dreams. They seem to capture both what we can see with our eyes in this world and the larger parts that are beyond our world.

I think I have too as a kid. I grew up in upstate NY and we summered in Canada, and went to the National Gallery and others in Quebec and Toronto.

Thanks Annelise. I think there are similarities to some of O’Keefe’s work. She definitely shared their belief in encountering the natural world head on.
